Barlow Lens vs Short Eyepiece: Which for High Power?

Will a Barlow work with my camera?

Often yes, and it is commonly used for planetary imaging to reach a longer effective focal length. Check that your camera and adapters reach focus, since a Barlow shifts the focal point outward.
